End‑User License Agreement

IMPORTANT – READ CAREFULLY: This End-User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you (the "Licensee") and Volodymyr Krasnobaiev ("Licensor", "we", "our", or "us") for the software product Citadel Firewall (the "Software").

By installing, copying, or otherwise using the Software, you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA. If you do not agree to the terms of this EULA, do not install, copy, or use the Software.

1. GRANT OF LICENSE

Licensor grants Licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to install and use the Software on one (1) personal computer only, as identified by the unique hardware identifier (motherboard serial number + CPU ID) to which the license key is initially bound.

The license is strictly personal and may not be shared, sublicensed, or transferred to another computer or individual without the express written consent of Licensor.

2. RESTRICTIONS

Licensee shall not:

• Copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works based on the Software, in whole or in part;
• Rent, lease, lend, sublicense, or otherwise distribute the Software to any third party;
• Use the Software for any unlawful purpose or in any manner that violates applicable laws and regulations;
• Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices (including copyright and trademark notices) contained in or on the Software;
• Use the Software in any environment where failure could lead to death, personal injury, or severe physical or environmental damage (e.g., nuclear facilities, aircraft navigation, life support systems).

3. LICENSE BINDING TO HARDWARE

The license key provided with the Software is permanently bound to a single hardware configuration, defined as the unique combination of:

• Motherboard serial number; and
• Central Processing Unit (CPU) identifier.

Any attempt to bypass, spoof, or circumvent this hardware binding constitutes a material breach of this EULA and will result in immediate and permanent revocation of the license without refund.

4. NO OBLIGATION TO PROVIDE UPDATES OR SUPPORT

Licensor is not obligated to provide any technical support, maintenance, updates, upgrades, bug fixes, or new versions of the Software.

Licensor may, at its sole discretion, provide such updates or support, but shall have no liability for the failure to do so.

5. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Merchantability;
• Fitness for a particular purpose;
• Non-infringement of third-party rights;
• Compatibility with any hardware or software;
• Error-free or uninterrupted operation;
• Security or protection against viruses, malware, or unauthorized access.

Licensor does not warrant that the Software will meet your requirements or that its operation will be error-free.

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, LICENSOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION:

• Loss of data, revenue, or profits;
• Loss of use of the Software or any associated hardware;
• Damage to your computer system, network, or devices;
• Any claims by third parties;

WHETHER ARISING FROM CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF LICENSOR HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Licensor's total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount paid by Licensee for the Software.

7. TERMINATION

This EULA is effective until terminated. Licensor may terminate this EULA immediately if Licensee fails to comply with any term or condition hereof.

Upon termination:

• Licensee shall immediately cease all use of the Software;
• Licensee shall uninstall and delete all copies of the Software from the licensed computer;
• The license key shall become invalid and no longer function.

Termination shall not relieve Licensee of any obligations incurred prior to termination.

8. GOVERNING LAW

This EULA shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ukraine, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this EULA shall be resolved in the competent courts of Ukraine.

9. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of this EULA is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect, and the invalid provision shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable.

10. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This EULA constitutes the entire agreement between Licensee and Licensor with respect to the Software and supersedes all prior understandings, representations, or agreements, whether written or oral.

11. ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By installing, copying, or using the Software, Licensee acknowledges that they have read this EULA, understood it, and agree to be bound by its terms.
